Is Life a Force?

"If life is a force, it must have determinable laws that govern its expression. Energy animates man's physical, mental and spiritual expressions of life. Science has discovered and applied physical laws that govern all forms of energy. Could these same laws also control the life and consciousness of man?

Man has learned how to direct electrical, chemical and atomic energy. As a result, science has given us all the conveniences of modern technology that we enjoy today. Is it possible, then, that one's own life can also be directed, regulated and controlled by law? If so, what are these laws? Could these laws, once discovered, be explained simply, so that anyone can learn to direct and change his or her life? Is it possible for one to learn how to create better health, greater freedom, mental control and peace within oneself?

Is there such a science as life engineering? Could such a science provide the missing, common denominator that would reconcile modern science with all the great philosophical and religious teachings? Can man understand life from these two seemingly different perspectives and see the oneness in all life?

If modern science and theology both agree that there is only one essential essence in the universe, why does man see himself separate from that oneness? Can man free himself from the illusionary world of separateness? Is it possible to open one's consciousness to perceive the entire cosmos, all of creation, from the scientific reality of oneness?
