About the Author, J.R. Ench
John Robert Ench was born on November 11, 1920 in Kingston, New York. He attended Rolla School of Mines in Missouri. After graduating as an engineer, the author served his country from 1941 to 1953 as a commissioned officer in the Army Corps of Engineers. He was assistant area engineer in Bremen during the occupation of Germany. He studied advanced physics with USAFI in Heidelberg and received a Ph.D. in atomic physics. Upon his return to the United States, he served on the Atomic Energy Commission and was technical advisor to the commanding general for the defense of the greater New York area. Prior to his experience in 1960, he was the plant manager of the Eagle Engineering Company.
During April of 1960, Jack Ench had his first visionary experience of oneness. For ten days he entered into a state which he later called uniconsciousness. During these ten days, he was given instructions and an assignment that he was to carry out. He realized that to carry out this assignment, he had to accomplish three things: manifest the vision on the physical plane, write a book explaining how one can find a path to truth, and finally teach the philosophy of the one life.
The manifestation of the vision is EOWATA, the location of the International Headquarters of the Life Engineering Foundation. The book is Life & Consciousness and the philosophy is taught through Life Engineering instruction. For the past thirty years, Jack Ench has been teaching Life Engineering classes and seminars throughout Canada and the United States.
